2014 BRICC Award Winner - Most Innovative Green Design "Open" Category
INTEGRATA teamed up with Preferred Building Systems (PBS) from Claremont, NH to create this Net Zero home in Woods Hole. INTEGRATA's design and details were sent to PBS in order for their design team to put it into a modular format that would allow for construction in a factory setting and be shipped down the road. INTEGRATA removed an existing structure from the site, installed a new septic system, new foundation and prepared the site to receive the modules. The modules arrived on site and were craned into place. The installers remained one additional day to make the house water tight. INTEGRATA then proceeded to complete the project over the next few months. Running new utilities, completing the exterior envelope, adding the interior insulation and finishes in areas not completed in the factory. Finishing the basement, adding cabinets in the three bathrooms and kithen and all the flooring. PBS gave us a head start to meet a very tight deadline but there were still many subcontractors and vendors to coordinate.
Finally the home owners asked that we renovate the existing garage so it would compliment the new home.
